Jose Wins 1st Place Twice, SKATE RODEO 2012
Jose Castillo competed at Sugars Drop Shop’s SKATE RODEO at Westind Lakes Skatepark, Miami, on Saturday, September 15, 2012. He won the ‘SKATE competition’ and the ‘BEST TRICK OFF THE KICKER competition’ for his division. His winning trick for the SKATE competition was a Kickflip sex-change. Then he won ‘BEST TRICK OFF THE KICKER’ with a Heelflip.
By the end of the Skate Rodeo, Jose had won $50 cash, a trophy, two DC backpacks, a pair of Tovo skate shoes, and a hat from Life’s Rad. Thank you, all.
First Professional Video Shoot

Tony Hawk Comes To Our Local Skatepark
Tony Hawk and the Birdhouse Team kicked off their “MIA TO NYC 2011″ tour in our own Westwind Lakes Skatepark (managed by Sugars Drop Shop) in West Miami.
